Page 1 of 10 Ah, the wonders of discussing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and the movie.

Red Robin was magnificent and Julia Breakey helped make it special with an Order of the Phoenix movie table cover and Mrs. Weasley, er, Nikki, brought along packs of our favourite game cards from the Harry Potter TCG. The anticipation for the book was palatable, as was the thought of mixing with so many Harry Potter Book Fans! All had both a sense of sadness over the end of such a brilliant series coming to an end and excitement over finally getting so many questions answered and what surprises were in store from Rowling! Red Robin proved to be quite good and, ironically enough, in a small game room they even had a British edition poster of the first Harry Potter movie – Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. Our table was, kind of predictably, cramped with members of the meet-up group and their families. Bottomless chips, American style, were in order and myself, Bethany and Dave indulged in HP card collecting while contributing to our group. Bethany wound up getting one of the more coveted Hologram Cards, that of Severus Snape, as I wound up with around a half-dozen or so foil and hologram cards. Bethany came dressed as Romilda Vane, Nikki as Mrs. Weasley, her daughter as Fleur Delacour-Weasley and Marie as Madam Umbridge. I forewent coming as either Mad-Eye Moody or Hagrid as I would have died from the heat! Not to mention I had nothing to cover Mad-Eye’s brilliant blue spinning eye. I’d like to thank the Harry Potter Meet-Up site for these photos and McGonagall’s Cat for her contributions to the featured article. These came courtesy of one Bethany and the website so if you want to see larger and proper pictures you’ll have to visit.
